Happy New year Everyone!
Shame on me because it's been waaay to long. I've done a lot photowise since I was last on here. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. My christmas was great. On new years day I shot my very first wedding. I was really excited and nervous about it. Overall I think I got some really beautiful shots. It was less stressful than I thought and really fun. I look forward to doing more weddings and I am very excited about what's in store for A. Garner Photography this year. I can't believe it's 2012 already! I haven't even adjusted to writing the correct year on paper. Anywho, I working on the wedding pics now and I'll have some up for you to enjoy soon. In the meantime here are some of my recent shoots!

Hello All,
I hope you are enjoying your week. I had a good week. I've been full of many ideas and I have many inspirations. I'm always dreaming and imagining how I can turn what I see into a beautiful picture. I can't wait until I get my own studio one day. Hopefully it's soon. My older sister had a baby a few days ago and she is just beautiful. Excites me because I have another beautiful baby to point my lens at now.  That's the great thing about have a big family when you are a photographer. You have loys of subjects to test your skills and ideas on! Hopefully I will get some pictures up of her soon. In the meantime and in between time here are some pictures from some of my most recent shoots!

Self Portrait

Call me conceited but I love to take pictures of myself. I don't know why I just do. This is where my love of taking pictures began. I've always admired the face and I can think back on my entire life how that can be true. I used to draw as a child. Besides the house the body was the first thing I learned to draw. I always started with the face and the eyes. Sometimes when I was in school or when I'm on the phone I doodle on a nearby piece of paper. It's usually they eyes. When I look at people I look at their eyes. I analyze their face. When I was in grade school I learned about the body and the different features that people have. Ever since then I notice differences in peoples facial features. So, I like the face. Its beautiful in all it's different shapes colors and size. I dislike some things about my face at times. But I love it. Because it's mine.
